Statement in ART:
“The beauty has no rules ”, it means the creativity especially the excellent one not depends only on the professional people, it can be by anyone who has a talent and spirit to achieve and create. I’m trying to learn and search and find the new in anywhere and in any field.

I have some experimental in digital paints and some in the photograph . Sometimes I’m using Oil and acrylic colours, sometimes thinking about sculpturing. I like the free paint

(subtraction and contemporary) mainly on colours or collage pasted on canvas.

I have many ideas to achieve in future.

I am Naglaa Gabr (you may also call me Nouna), 22 years old, graduated from the American Unversity in Dubai with a bachelor in interior design and currently working as an art teacher in Al Wahda Private school. Art has always been my passion since a very young age, to me it's an expression of the soul, emotions and feelings. As well as it's the best form of therapy, whenever I find myself going through a rough patch, I run away through my art.

The form of art I love the most is Arabic calligraphy, the forms, and the shapes are absolutely beautiful and inspiring, and I believe that Arabic calligraphy really suits the theme of women empowerment as it's a type of art that has a lot of beautiful curves and shows lots of emotions, just like women.

JALEELA NIAZ

20181027_143711.jpg

NATIONALITY : SINGAPORE

I am Jaleela Niaz, a Singapore based contemporary artist of Indian origin. For me, art is an 'ultimate means of expression'.

I was always an artsy kid in class. Despite my passion for painting, realistically my family did not think art as a viable career. Born and raised in an Indian family, I was deeply drawn into the academic system which I passed out in flying colours adding the first rank as a "feather" to my excellence.

Even in early years of life, the painting was my medium of expression. It was during my college life that I realised painting gave me more freedom to converse than in any other language. Weighing my artistic talents, my friends inspired me and that is when I decided to do my first solo exhibition in 2002. The reviews I got was a big boost to my confidence and I continued my journey in art thereafter. As life plays its part, now married and settled in Singapore with my two kids, took me to a different level. Yet there was a nagging feeling which I could not ignore. ART IS MY PASSION and my husband supported me to the core. He never stopped me from chasing my dreams.
My creativity started flowing out and so far I conducted many online exhibitions and is now working as a freelance art teacher. I believe that creativity is expressing ourselves and inspiring others. My style is mostly abstract and I also do landscapes. Thank you for your presence and I hope to soothe and inspire you with my work.

NATIONALITY : PAKISTAN

“I believe, that Art allows us to express our true feelings. It lets our inner-self show through our work. An artist becomes increasingly sensitive & inspired by the factors around. As this reservoir of observation expands, so does the depth of his work” - Masooma Rizvi
A self-taught artist, I preferred my passion for colour & creativity over a flourishing Banking career. My work revolves around Arabic Calligraphy & the Sufi concepts. It attempts at creating a fusion between the traditional Khattak (calligraphy) & the modern use of colours, to create a thing that is visually appealing and touches the heart & soul.

Being experimental in nature, I prefer to follow the untrodden path to my goal. Working with
unconventional materials & techniques are engaging for the artist and resultantly beguiling to the viewer. An avid observer & explorer, my paintings carry inspiration from the simple things that surround us. Art plays an important role in my life & through this work, I wish to share the sentiment of spirituality and mysticism with the world around.
